Charlies Bar is situated in the heart of the island town of Enniskillen in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland.The proprietor of Charlie's is Gerry whose father, Charlie, the bar is named after. The bar has been in the Burns family since 1944 when Charlie piled his trade serving farmers, locals and American troops stationed nearby at Castle Archdale.When Charlie retired his son Gerry took over the running of the bar, which has since undergone a major refurbishment in years. The bar has a warm, traditional atmosphere where many a good pint has been drunk. As with all traditional Irish pubs, the staff and locals welcome strangers and visitors as lost freinds who are welcome to share a pint or three.
